Postmint offers various options to gate your campaign to ensure Sybil Resistant campaigns. We're constantly adding new gates to accommodate the needs of our clients. Our current selection offers the following gates:
Token gated: Applicants are required to hold a defined number of tokens in their wallet to join the campaign. This is the perfect gate type for communities that already have an NFT. Using your NFT as a campaign gate ensures that posters have a vested interest in your project and adds utility to your NFT, turning it into a revenue-generating asset using PostToEarn.
Application-based: Campaign creators manually whitelist campaign participants via the insights page. Campaign creators receive information about the applicants, such as the number of followers on Twitter and posts, to make an informed decision.
Open: Everybody can join. While crypto is great for being open and permissionless, we recommend gating your campaigns via token or application gates to ensure the quality of your campaign participants.
